Our Beliefs

Scripture?

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.

God?

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, and He reveals Himself to us most fully in the Person of Jesus Christ. God is perfectly righteous and just, incapable of wrong.

Jesus Christ?

We believe Jesus Christ is God, born of a virgin. He lived a perfect life to earn righteousness for those who believe in Him. On the cross, He exchanged His righteousness for the sinfulness of mankind, and accomplished the salvation of all those who put their trust in Him.

Holy Spirit?

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit whose indwelling convicts the world of sin and righteousness, and regenerates and empowers the saved to live a life that brings glory to God.

Man?

We believe that man was created in the image of God to have perfect peace and fellowship with God. Our first parents lived and walked with God, but they, and we, are rebels against God and are separated from Him by our sin.

Sin?

We believe that all humans are born under the curse of sin. Because of that sin and God’s holiness, we are separated from God. Every attempt of our own will to get back to God is futile because our souls are hopelessly stained and incapable of bringing anything good before God. Apart from God’s grace through Christ, we are without hope in the world.

Hope?

We believe that the only way we can be reunited with God our Father is through faith in the death of Jesus on the cross. Further, we believe that through Christ, God is reconciling all things to Himself and will one day restore all things and make His dwelling with man again!

The Church?

We believe that our mission is to bring glory to God by making followers of Jesus. We do this through gospel-centered worship, bringing people into church so that they can be trained to go out into their culture as effective missionaries. Church is not solely the Sunday gathering. Because Jesus is King of all, all of the Christian life is one of worship.
